Frequently Asked Questions

We at Charlotte Hot Tub Movers want to make this process as easy as possible for you.  Here are some frequently asked questions and answers.

Q:  What areas do you service?
A:  We service Charlotte and surrounding counties.  Rock hill, Fort Mill, Gastonia, York, Clover, Hickory, Lake Norman, Huntersville, Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury.  Call for a quote.  We do long distance moves as well.

Q:  Are there any risks to hot tub when you move it?
A:  We do everything in our power to protect your investment.  Sometimes small flaws to the hot tub are inevitable.  For example when a 1250lb spa has to go on its side and the cabinet is 10 years old and the cabinet is rotted, cracks can happen.  Shifting of pipes can cause small leaks and squeezing it through a narrow gateway may scuff the shell.  We at Charlotte Hot Tub Movers do all our spa moves carefully and thoughtfully, but there are inherent risks in moving older hot tubs for which we would not be held liable.

Q:  How much does it cost to move a spa?
A:  The cost is primarily dependent on the following:
·         Dimensions, age and brand of the spa / hot tub
·         Time of travel and estimated time to complete the job
·         What the access is like at the pick-up and drop off locations
·         Dump fees if the job is a disposal / removal

Q:  What do you mean by “access?”
A:  We need to have enough room to get the spa from its location to the truck and vice versa on the delivery end.  Most of the time we move the hot tub on its side.  Consider the width and height of the spa.  Gates need to be wide enough for spa to fit through, watch roof overhangs, trees, plants etc…

Q:  Can you just get rid of my hot tub for me?
A:  No Problem!!  We can remove and dispose of your old hot tub like it was never there.

Q:  What if the hot tub won’t fit through gate.
A:  There is always a way.  We can take down fence or work with a local crane company to get the hot tub out safely.

Q:  My hot tub is recessed in a deck, can you still move it?
A:  Yes.  We specialize in all types of situations for in deck, in ground, uphill, downhill, your name it.
